「襤褸は作るもんじゃなくて、育てる(た)もの」。

そんな素敵な言葉を、言葉以上に実感できるようなものができれば……と、古布を組み合わせて、襤褸になるかもしれない布の下地を作り、使い続けて、針を通し続けて、一つの襤褸を育ててみたいと思っています。

理想はありますが、答えはありません。

デザインも考えますが、きっと裏切られることも多々あると思います。

だから、「間違いかも」と思ったことも、その時の流れと気持ちを大事に。使い続ける中でいろんな表情を見せてくれる布を目指して使い続けたいと思います。
