Keiko put a surprize into a box of Sashiko Workshop Materials. I will bring this to the NYC for this weekend. It is a great item to share how Sashiko can be warm, loving and enjoyable.

On 11/2/17, I introduced the White Jacket Keiko made with Asano-ha pattern. She dipped all the Jacket, with stitches, into Indigo Liquid… The result is interesting. I cannot wait to see the natural color fade which will create more uniquness.

昨年11月2日に紹介した、白地に麻の葉の刺し子ジャケット。刺し子した後、丸々藍染布に付けるという、芸術家としては素晴らしく、商売人としては「まじで！？」という挑戦。いろんな方にお見せしたいと、なかなか米国には回ってこなかったのですが、遂に手元に届きました。販売用のジャケットではあるのだけど、これは自分で着古して、自分なりの藍染を作りたいなぁと思ったり。
