It was such a wonderful weekend with hosting Sashiko Workshops in NYC. As always, it is my pleasure to see participants smile. I enjoyed a lot, and learned a lot.

We do not have a plan for the future Sashiko yet. However, we sincerely hope that we can continue the workshops and make it happen sometime before end of this year, like November. 刺し子ワークショップ in NYC。今回も無事完遂できました。飛び跳ねて喜んでくれた生徒さんがいて、こちらもとても嬉しくなります。本でしか見たことがない実際の刺し子を見て、運針を見て、「やっと出会えた」と言って頂けるのは、この仕事の醍醐味だなぁと思うのです。

8月は1ヶ月、少しゆっくりしようと思います。予定は突っ込まず、何をすべきか、何をできるかを整理する一ヶ月にしようかと。うん。後は庭仕事と家の補修と家事と。溜まってるからね。
