At some point in the Japanese history, the goverment regulated the “colors” the ordinary Japanese could use in their Fashion. Sashiko also experienced its “too fancy” regulation, yet survived through the history.

This soceity is build on freedom of expression. I sincerely respect a “difference” and therefore I would like to share the beauty of “Not-Judging” the others. Stop judging not only someone’s work, but most importantly, stop judging what you do and who you are. That’s our message throughout the simple stitching. The society we live in “can” be very beautiful.
