It is my goal to share The the Sashiko via Upcycle Stitches. One of the core activities of Upcycle Stitches is to support the industries that consist of the Sashiko – and the next step is to “raise” the next generation. Well… “Raise” is a quite strong word. I am still a learner as well. However, I would like to support the new artisans as much as I can. The profit of the business goes to the next generation artisans & many suppliers which significantly help the Sashiko today.

It has been my great honor to introduce beautiful Sashiko items produced by @na.na_45. All hand-stitched and handmade with Hand-dyed thread by @Sashi.Co. It is a small Kinchaku Bag, but it is definitely “one-of-a-kind”, in which you can make it your by using and enjoying the color fade naturally (Gentle washing will not wash away the color. Over years, the fabric and thread will change its colors). They are available on our website now.

I introduced a Sashiko stitched fabric facemask @Sashi.Co a couple of weeks ago. I appreciate many reactions & inquiries for the availability of the Sashiko facemask. I do not plan to sell the Sashiko facemask for now. Instead, I made a kit for YOU to make the Sashiko mask. I…
