I received a compliment that my needlework looks like fast-forwarded (which is NOT). After offering many workshops in NYC, I am confident to say that Sashiko is about the rhythm.
★
I offer the Sashiko “Stitching” Workshop in NYC and Online. I plan to offer it either in the middle or the end of November. We also plan to offer the workshop online when I have enough requests. If you are interested, please DM with your email address.
★
詳細は「sashico.com」にてご紹介しています。

I have a Facebook Group to share & enjoy the Japanese Sashiko (& Boro). It is sad that I have to say “Japanese” because Sashiko is a Japanese term. However, in the trend, many people use the word of Sashiko for their purpose without learning the origin. It happens because…

From the “Teaching” perspective, it is easier to offer the “Answers” as rules to follow. For example, if I were to set the rules saying each stitch has to be 0.5mm, I can rest after “teaching” what is the “rule”. This isn’t the teaching style I pursue. If the goal…

One of my core messages I want to deliver is the importance of acknowledging the “Upstream”. Intangible items such as Wisdom & Knowledge are difficult to “protect”. Or, as they are public domain, it is even silly to think of “protecting” them. However, it is an absolute fact that these…
