One of the message I share during my Sashiko Workshop is that Sashiko is a form of “Caring” to someone you love. The photo is a result by one of the students of Sashiko Workshop. I am very happy that I could deliver my message, and so proud of her working so hard for her grandchild. Sashiko is just a form of stitching, but what I share in the workshop is more than just stitching. (Workshop is coming in 3 weeks again in NYC).

アメリカの感謝祭。歴史がある祝日ですが、現代では「家族や知人と集まる祝日」といった認識が一般的なように思います。「大切にしたい人」が集まる日。僕が刺し子を通して伝えたいのは、「大切な人に大切だと思いを込められる時間を日常に落とし込むこと」です。僕が会社を辞めて専業主夫になった時に、「三世代の女性、母、妻、娘を支える日々」と覚悟したその女性3人と一緒に過ごせた感謝祭の祝日に感謝です。まー、めっちゃくちゃ疲れますけども。

写真は、ワークショップに参加してくださった方が、お孫さんを思って作ったジャケットです。僕の願いが生徒さんにも届いていて、何よりも嬉しいのです。

三世代美女集団のお世話係ｻﾏ(*´艸`)お疲れ様でした🍀 心地よい疲れだったのではないでしょうか？YouTubeも拝見しましたが、とってもcuteなお母様で、モザイクに大笑いしました💛 着物の打合せ(カシュクール)は、とてもオシャレなのに機能的で、原始的なのに斬新で、世代やお国柄など関係ないですね(๑´ㅂ`๑) 自由の国で自由な発想で、淳ｻﾝはホントに素敵なお仕事をなさってるんだな！って思いました。また配信を楽しみにしております(๑´ㅂ`๑)
国、言語は違っても送る相手を想ってというおおもとかはおなじなんですねー

I really lime your view about your doing. Been involved in stitxhing for the ones I care the last years. and mending whatever they atill want to use but needs some more love to continue being usable.The stitching itself is so peaceful I feel ita gooda for me
