A warning for the long article… I apologize in advance that I didn’t have enough

A warning for the long article… I apologize in advance that I didn’t have enough time for the good proof reading (I know I advocated the mindful-writing. Sorry). I started the article explaining what is a good vintage fabric for to-be-Boro project. Then end up with explaining what is Boro and concept behind it. It is a quite reading material. I hope you enjoy it.

The message is quite simple. The Boro is more than “recycling the fabric and thread” and “mending”. It is a similar message of Sashiko as more than just stitching. There are the stories behind the word of Boro and Sashiko, and I feel it is my mission to share, as one Japanese who is in Sashiko for a long time and who happen to be able to write/speak in English. As always, the article is in our Upcycle Stitches website (https://upcyclestitches.com). The link is available from the profile. Thank you for your time to mindfully read what I write.
☆

This is our “first” time to make Boro together in the same space (room). When we were working for the Sashiko business, our main task was to “run” the company. After we end up living over the national boarders, even when we see every 2 years or so, I had…

I appreciate kind comments on the previous Reel – and most importantly, thank you for your acknowledgement. When I share Stories, Videos, Tutorials, and “Non-Edit” stitching scenery, like the previous Reel, I receive comments thanking me for my kindness and generosity. Well, I really thank-back you for that, but the…
