atsushijp, 2017年10月9日

We would say that we have accomplished the Natural Indigo Dye with Sukumo (Japanese traditional method). Some tiny parcels of Indigo Dye got stuck into the softly twisted Sashiko thread. However, we decided to introduce them because the parcels can be removed when we use the thread in Sashiko stitching.
There are absolutely room to improve. We keep working on it. For now, they are coming up to our online store soon with parcels, that can be the evidence of hand-dye. 🙂 「

We see a lot of “success stories – (scams)” online for how to be “rich” in “simple 3 steps”. It is probably (ultimately) human’s desier to get wealthy easily. However, Sashiko existed when the Japanese didn’t even have a choice to be “wealthy”. So, if you practice Sashiko for the…

I consider this account as a platform to “educate us” via sharing our Sashiko Story. “Who to educate” is not only the readers who want to learn Sashiko, but it also is “me and others in pain” who may need to learn how to speak up. Many advise me that…
