Our Sashiko Story to Your Sashiko Journey

After the industrial revolution, we tried to win – competition – to be the numbe

atsushijp, 2019年9月20日

After the industrial revolution, we tried to win – competition – to be the number one. With the emergence of the Internet (and tired of competing with each other), we tried to celebrate who we are – diversity – to be the only one. Now, everything is connected, we can share – care – to be “one” as human. You do not have to like me or what I say in Sashiko – but please understand that what I do is to share – not judging, criticising, or intimidating. I want you to know what Sashiko is for us – especially for the Japanese I have (been) worked with. Your support on Patreon – where I can feel safe and be honest – is very much appreciated to keep this journey – to realize we are “one” by sharing what we are proud of.

I am a beginner but try to improve each time I put the needle and thread to the fabric. I appreciate your integrity and honesty. Much more important than than if I “like” you.
