Making samples of Sashiko Denim for my first “Day-long Sashiko & Denim” workshop at Tatter Blue Libeary (@tatterbluelibrary) on 9/29 (SAT).

Sashiko is(was) a form of Stitching to repurpose & upcycle the textile in Japan. We respect the tradition and apply the concept and technique to the modern Fashion (Denim). The workshop is devided by 2 sections, but I strongly recommend to take both to fully enjoy what I would like to share throughout Sashiko on the Denim (the workshop was programmed for the day-long workshop.)

You will learn all of the technique, concept, and mindset to make your own Denim to be “One-of-a-kind”. Let’s have fun there.

配信でもコメント頂きましたが、やっぱり僕にとって、デニムと直線が一番しっくりくる刺し子です。楽しいし、多分見てても針が軽やか（笑）。
日本でもワークショップすることがあったら、デニムとかにも少し話題は触れたいなぁと。いつ帰れるかわからんですが（笑）
