The Sashiko Worksho participant, and now our Sashiko friend @babyboyque, let me take photos of him with our Sashiko Boro Jacket. I do not know why, but the Boro Jacket we made to fit me (170cm) fit anyone between 160cm to over 180cm. So interesting.
☆
Japanese wisdom to repurpose the fabric. The functional stitching can be so beautiful and kind of conceptual (in a sense). We love sharing the beauty and fun of Sashiko.
☆

Thank you for comments with empathy. I guess I have reached up my capacity. I receive many requests & questions about Sashiko. I tried to be honest and earnest to share the Sashiko we practice. However, some handle my attitude without being mindful, and they hurt my feelings. Unfortunately, a…

The feedback, “It is fortunate to take your class”, is the best reward I can get in the workshop. I teach stitching, but I ask not to stitch. I teach how to speed up their stitching, but I ask them to slow down. One result of Sashiko is being mindful,…
