One of the plan for the next year is to enhance the line-up of Sashiko items with a theme of “an ordinary day with Sashiko”. We made the Sashiko Cushion Cover with Indigo fabric a long time ago, and now, just right before Keiko’s visit to the USA, we got inserts to make it so round. They are so cute. The cushion will be available over Holidays on the website @upcyclestitches

米国での商品展開を考える時に、クッションって結構重要で。どの家にもソファーがあり、ソファーにはクッションがある……というので、全部一点物だけど、時間の余裕のある時に作っています。藍染布で刺し子のクッションカバー。相当前にできていた作品なのですが、実際にクッションを入れて、パンパンにしてみました。パンパンなのが(なんか自分を見ているようで)愛おしい(笑)
