Preparing for the workshop next weekend in NYC. I just re-realize how fortunate I am to be privileged with Sashiko Tradition. I wash born in Sashiko family, and after all it is my fate. Now, my mission is to share this previous culture, both “how to” & “why”. — 週末も、娘と遊ぶ以外は、刺し子ワークショップの準備。刺し子糸や刺し布、刺し子に囲まれて思うのは、あれだけ憎んだ自分の「刺し子家業」という運命も、角度を変えて見ると、とても恵まれた環境だったんだなぁと。そういう幸運に恵まれた私達は、やっぱり「共有」することで恩返しができるのだと思うのです。 —
