An interesting story for an interesting piece of Boro & Kofu (Japanese Vintage Fabric). We clearn the rice chaff from the fabric. The Japanese used to put rice chaff for the dehumidifyier purpose. It is difficult to find out “how old” the vintage fabric is. However, by cleaning rice chaff,…

Keiko’s pieces are so amazingly beautiful! We learned so much from Keiko, the most generous host, had a fantastic sashiko boro experience and visit in TAKAYAMA. Unforgettable craftsmanship, Unfirgettsble talent ❤️

@nana.aranha Thank you for asking. This jacket is $2730.00(USD). Everything is hand-stitched with Indigo Fabric. For a made-to-order jacket similar to like this, it would be somewhere about $2,500 and up. It really depends on the pattern and how much Sashiko you would like to have. We take custom orders. Thank you!
