Sashiko and Boro aren’t as popular as the others, but they are already establishing their own meaning – unfortunately & sadly. Wabi-Sabi, Zen, Mottainai… these are popular words often…
Some of our Jackets are designed as reversible jackets. The Japanese had(have) a concept of “shame” when they repaired the fabric. We understand the concept as well as the beauty of mending. So we ask the one who wear the jacket to decide which side suit for him/her. Love Sashiko…
