Newsletter Sent on Oct 17th – Hello from Sashiko Story & Atsushi

I hope this newsletter finds you well. It has been a long time since I last sent one out. I’ve been quite busy sharing Sashiko stories on Instagram and YouTube, and I haven’t had much time to focus on my own business activities, including promotion.

Well… that’s just an excuse.
I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I’m still here, sharing the Sashiko we’ve been practicing. I plan to send out several newsletters to catch you up on everything I’ve been doing “outside” of the newsletter.

I’ve decided to call myself “SashikoStory,” and I’m working on integrating all my web platforms. For this purpose, I created a new website: https://sashikostory.com. The previous website, https://upcyclestitches.com, is still active, and I will continue to use both platforms to welcome anyone who practices or is interested in Sashiko.

Stitching Sample with our Variegated Colored Sashiko thread. Blue, Green, Red, and White. The color changes create interesting results of running stitch. Yes, the Sashiko’s original image is Indigo fabric and white thread (There are reasons for that, and I will share it someday somewhere), but I also like the…
