“Any Recommendations to start learning Sashiko?” ever since I started teaching Sashiko, I have received this question so many times. The best recommendation is the Sashiko Class I offer – [Core & Essence], either In-Person or Online. It will give a great package of technique & mindset to start enjoying Sashiko. However, it requires a bit of commitment in terms of cost. It is because I would like to spend as much time as needed for the personal adjustment.

Then, many ask “Any Recommendation in a Book (written in English)?” Unfortunately, I do not have any recommendations in books. They aren’t wrong… but it can be misleading & often simplified. Instead of just saying “I do not have a recommendation”, I decided to work with Domestika to create the course – [Introduction to Japanese Sashiko].

It is a bit sad that I needed to title “Japanese Sashiko” – as Sashiko is already a Japanese word. Well, I have been receiving a lot of positive feedback on this course. If you are looking for a place to start learning Sashiko, please consider the course on Domestika. It is pretty reasonable & it is easy to refer to your friends, too.
