What a Weekend. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the troubles on our main website. It has been hijacked, and it is under treatment to remove the potential risk (like Malware). The treatment should be completed soon… as the expert I relied on is working very hard to revive it with better & stronger security.

I realize how much I depend on the Website. I use WordPress, and I believed that I had enough security by installing major plug-ins & setting SSL. I occasionally use the Google Safe Browsing Test, and it has been okay until last Friday. After the issue, I researched the cause of this, and realized the significance of the “professional work” for the type of the activities I do.

I am aware of the risk of “Customer’s Information” when it comes to E-Commerce. Therefore, I use a separate E-Commerce Platform with their own security system. Now, I am committed to protect all of the websites I have with maximum investment.They are the “faces” of my activities. I minimize the stress I would feel when one of them is not accessible… I feel as if I lost a partner who I depend on.

Well. Good news is that this is a fixable issue. I may probably scare some of the visitors. I am devastated that I caused this… and have been reading & learning how I can avoid it in future. (To avoid it, I simply need to ask for an expert who is good at this – I cannot be as good as they are!). Once the website is back with Red Screen Removed, I will make an announcement here. I appreciate your support & empathy. I have 2 other websites running (1) JapaneseSashiko.Com as a “Library” of what I share & (2) SashikoStory.Com as a new Webstore I am working on. The one [Upcycle Stitches – Com] will (and being) function as the Company Website. What a Weekend…

いやはや。大変な週末になりました。これまで何個かウェブサイトを作ってきましたが、その中でも一番頼りにしているウェブサイトがハッキングされまして…この程度の規模のウェブサイトがハッキングなんてされないだろうと、セキュリティも無料のを基本使ってたのですが…大反省です。やっぱり専門家を入れないと大変なことになりますね。

毎日更新していたウェブサイトではないのですが、オンラインストアの窓口ということもあり、羽をもがれた蝶のように何もできないでいます。何もできないけど、何かしてないと苦しくて専門家に処理は任せたものの、自分でも何かできないとリソースをあたってみたり。来週には復活できていればと願っています。いやー大変。
