Only 3 Skeins Left! I introduced several Colors of Sashiko Thread that I thought I wouldn’t put the tags on. The colors are from miracles (or mistakes, for that matter), and we do not know if we can repeat the same color again. The color from Natural Dye is always “One-of-a-kind”, but we try to recreate the same color for the business purpose (We think it is “professional” to be able to offer the similar color continuously). Well, as we deal with “Natural” Materials, this type of “fortune” happens.

I usually keep the color for myself, for special occasions. I need a bit of cash this summer, and I put them on the Online Store – I really appreciate those who have purchased some of them, and I sincerely wish you would enjoy the color – I feel I am sharing a very important part of my life throughout the color! (I feel connected when they use the same threads & tools as they are a part of Cultural Sustainability of Sashiko for us!).

I will see what I can offer – balancing what I would like to keep & what I can share. As I shared on @SashikoStory, starting this summer, I would need to think more of “Income” to contribute to the family. I find it quite a good opportunity as sharing something I thought I would just keep for myself is another way to appreciate the culture.

I really really appreciate those who try to learn the Sashiko from us, contribute to the Cultural Sustainability (Supply Chain of small artisans in Japan) of Sashiko by using the supplies we offer, and keep listening to the stories from us.

これまで、「もしかしたら二度と再現できないかもしれない色糸」は、自分の為のコレクションとして値段をつけてこなかったのですが、今年の夏から少し私の家族内での役割が変わったこともあり、販売も開始しました。おかげさまで残り3色になりました。好きな色、好きな糸、好きな道具や材料を共有できるというのは幸せなことです。友達というか、同志というか、何か大切なものも一緒に共有できている感じがするのです。
