Some of the [Indigo Dyed Fabric with Geometric/Traditional Pattern Pre-Printed]

atsushijp, 2024年2月8日

Some of the [Indigo Dyed Fabric with Geometric/Traditional Pattern Pre-Printed] are back in Stock. As much as I try to share the importance of learning how to prepare the pattern on the fabric, we sometimes have days that we just jump into stitching. For that, it is good to have the best fabric for Sashiko with a pattern prepared already (with silk-screening with washable ink). We mostly stitch from the “Back/Wrong side”, and the patterns are prepared on the wrong side. With proper technique such as Kasane, you may use both sides of the fabric as the “Finished/Good/Showing” side.
☆
I often say that the fabric is up to the stitcher’s preference, unlike the Sashiko Thread. Thread Does matter in Sashiko & I strongly recommend using our Sashiko Thread for the best result. Meanwhile, fabric can be “anything” for that matter. At the same time, however, there is a kind of fabric which is the best suitable for the purpose of enjoying Unshin & our Sashiko – which is the Fabric we offer as “Indigo Dyed Fabric”. Not many places offer the same fabric (as far as I know, it is only us in Sashiko Field), and it is only us who offer this fabric with the pattern preprinted.
☆
This is a good treat for stitchers to just enjoy stitching – as I may jump into the enthusiasm of stitching with this pattern pre-printed fabric (Please learn how to prepare the pattern on the fabric, though, as I have many videos on Youtube).
