Happy New Year! I hope to keep offering the best suitable Sashiko supplies, tools & ideas for the best way of enjoying Sashiko! During the Holiday break, I upload a number of Sashiko Stories on our main account at @SashikoStory – please check them out if you haven’t yet.

With the fresh start of 2024, Atsushi will restart offering Sashiko In-Person Workshops. It was so nice to have 2~3 months to focus on stitching & reflecting what our Sashiko are. With huge appreciation to those who supported me while I wasn’t fully in business, I am very much looking forward to meeting the new Sashiko friends! Also, finally, we received some good news about the stabilizing the thread supplies, which got badly damaged in Covid-19. I believe I can get more threads from Keiko & keep offering with full English support from the United States.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t prepare for the beautiful “Purple/Indigo” Sashiko Threads that you may have seen in the “Fortune Bags” in Keiko’s Store. I am on the waiting list as well… so if I am lucky, I will introduce them on this account. Meanwhile, I have some Indigo & Green (both by Natural Indigo) Colored Sashiko Threads re-stocked. They are all “One-of-a-kind”, and I will try my best to align to the customer’s preference (in shade & how strong/subtle the variegation/unevenness they want).

I will keep sharing blogs on our new web store front – “https://sashikostory.com/”. The same items, the same price, just a different user experience from the current store front “Upcycle Stitches”. Both websites go through, and please let me know if there is anything I can do to support your Sashiko Life.

I have some ideas that I want to make happen in 2024. One is about advocating for the “Domestika Sashiko Course” – it is the recommendation for anyone who wants to start Sashiko with respecting the culture. I hope to upload more information here in addition to the “@SashikoSoty”.
