I appreciate your time to sign-up for the “Tips to draw Grid on Fabric extremely easily”. The link is still available from our “highlight” – find “”Links for Detail” on my profile page. If you do not receive it after signing up, please contact me. If you do not find passwords, read everything once again carefully. Hitomezashi is one topic to be one workshop – and it requires very careful explanation. It isn’t my intention to “offer quick answers” here, but this is one flow of “Hitomezashi” – not the answer, just one example.

☆

As you know, I rarely stitch on a small fabric (unless I need to do so for a specific purpose). Same in Hitomezashi – as you may find, it is on the “Denim”. I hope to have an Online Class combining these information & ideas. However, all information about “preparation”, and even “Hitomezsashi” is supplemental. All the important information I need to pass down is in “Online Sashiko Class (Core & Essence)”. In-Person one is available in March/April 2023. I understand it isn’t so cheap to take my class, but it is one skill, technique, and most importantly “mindset” that you can apply to your days throughout your entire life – for that, I believe what I offer is extremely reasonable. I do not take more than certain numbers of participants even for Online. I hope to support & encourage your Sashiko via email, videos & Zoom.

The Magazine brought many people here, and I would like to make a comment on this. I am just one individual who decided to…

Some asked me if I would make a “Boro” mask. It is an interesting observation, here is my insight. Long story short, I don’t think I can make a “Boro mask” today. In my belief, one of the significance in “Boro” is the process of using it & mending it….

In my understanding, the Japanese once chose to discontinue Sashiko. Many years ago, they stitched out of their necessity for survival. It is natural to put Sashiko behind when they obtained some wealth (It is different in the northern part of Japan known for Kogin, Hishizashi, and such). Most of…
