Since I started teaching Sashiko in 2017, I have received a lot of feedback: “I would like to go to Japan with you, Atsushi!”. It is very flattering to hear that kind of compliment – they like the Sashiko I had shared & they are more interested in Japan (Japanese Culture). It was one planned in 2020, but unfortunately, I had to cancel everything. With Japan closing its border for non-Japanese for a while, I couldn’t even come up with a plan… but, finally, with encouragement from dear friends, I am going back to Japan with our Sashiko Friends.
☆
Due to the uniqueness of this tour, this is NOT for “anyone” – but I welcome anyone who is interested in Sashiko & Japan. Please read the details & submit the application to join. I am very much looking forward to spending time with you in Japan. (*As of now, all the spots are filled and waiting for the scheduling competition. This is our First, but I do not want it to be the last. If you do not mind being on the waitlist & share your preference, it would be very much appreciated).

Alright. Instead of offering many options, I decided to go with simple option – to fully experience what we do in Sashiko to make Boros. It is a package of Natural Dye Sashiko thread and vintage fabrics with some necessary tools (needles and thimbles are not included). We would use…

We believe in the “power” of hand-crafting. We dye our Sashiko Threads with our own hands & natural materials. Sashiko Threads matters. Knowing the difference in threads will help the artisans in making the difference, and the choice you make will make the future of “hand-made”. We have some Natural…

Some of the [Indigo Dyed Fabric with Geometric/Traditional Pattern Pre-Printed] are back in Stock. As much as I try to share the importance of learning how to prepare the pattern on the fabric, we sometimes have days that we just jump into stitching. For that, it is good to have…
