On March 31st, 1 pm EST / 10 am PST, I will have a talk about “Sashiko in English today” as a part of Conversations Series [Japanese Stitchery Now] ]offered by Wada Sensei (@YoshikoWada) and World Shibori Network Foundation” (@worldshiborinetwork).
☆
In 2022, I often state that: “Sashiko in English is NOT wrong, but insufficient”. In our Story Account, @SashikoStory, I share why I state that in positive trend where not many people only want to hear something comfortable. Well, it is because someone gotta do this kind of work. Fortunately, I met Wada Sensei to learn how fortunate we are to have her & her team working so much in Japanese textile. It is my least contribution to them, and your participation will be a great support for them as well. I will be there. It isn’t like a workshop that we offer. I may (will) repeat similar things if you are a long follower of our messages. However, one of my friends on Youtube stated, “There is always something new to learn.”. I will do my best on 31st.

Schools shut down. People stay inside. Socializing fun is not recommended for unforseen period of time. This “unknown” is very scary. Although I am super busy as if I have 2 full-time job, thanks to logistics in USA, our business “Upcycle Stitches” are on-going. When you would like to get…
