It is quite challenging for us to create the “Color of Red” with Natural Dye. In 2021, Keiko had tried many combinations, and she offered the outcome as a part of the “Lucky Bag” for the New Year (It was available only in Japan). I am expecting to receive these beautiful “Red & Red-ish” colored Sashiko Threads available soon in the USA. Once I confirm the color, I will introduce it in English, and I hope to put them on our web store. We have “Pinks” and “Purples” in Natural Dye as a part of the regular collection, and hopefully, the red will join the collection.

As many people acknowledge the importance of the [Sustainability], it is a critical concern for us as well. We are a “for-profit” organization. Therefore, it is important to think about growth… Yet, I try to focus on sustainability outside of the excessive competition in pricing. It is natural that a…

You may be surprised, but I have never received a “structured” Sashiko Lesson. I just had many teachers (Sashiko artisans), and I learned mostly by just looking. It is (was) quite common in Japanese craftsmanship/artisanship. ☆ As I keep sharing in @Sashi.Co, my goal is to share the Sashiko we…

Some of the [Indigo Dyed Fabric with Geometric/Traditional Pattern Pre-Printed] are back in Stock. As much as I try to share the importance of learning how to prepare the pattern on the fabric, we sometimes have days that we just jump into stitching. For that, it is good to have…
