Sashiko Thread Matters. Some may say, “you can use any thread in Sashiko”. This is a true statement. Anyone can use any thread in any stitching. However, I hope this statement doesn’t come from ignorance or filtering. There are many reasons & stories why we call it “Sashiko Thread”. We use (& sell) specific Sashiko thread so that we can pass down something we have been cultivating. Sashiko Thread Matters. I hope you “choose” the best Sashiko thread for you rather than just “following” the convenience or someone’s advice.
