I have received several concerns about my privacy setting on Instagram that they cannot tag this account on their post/story. I allow everyone to tag, comment, and “mention” because I can learn something even from hatred. Only thing I do is “Block” the account which does harm “repeatedly”. So, it is either the person cannot see this account, or can do everything they want. (If you think you are blocked for no apparent reason, please let me know somehow. My “pocket” once blocked my best friend here…

Being said, Instagram is acting a bit strange. It has been a week since I cannot make a post with a caption on my business account. I was naive that I didn’t doubt it as an Instagram’s server error or something so they will fix it soon or later… but since I received messages with worries, if I am restricting privacy settings to protect me, or if Instagram is “filtering” the activities, I just wanted to make an announcement it is not “me” who is doing so. I hope Instagram fixes the issue soon. I love this platform, as I shared the reasons why I use Instagram to share my life.

I cannot tag other accounts I have. The other account cannot comment here. It isn’t because of the privacy settings. What can I do to fix it ?? If you cannot comment here or tag me, it’s not because of my settings. Umm…

ご連絡です。ここ最近、インスタグラムの調子が不安定で、僕の個人やビジネスアカウントで、キャプション付きの投稿ができなくなってしまっています。今日は「タグ付けできないんだけど」というご報告がありました。原則、僕がプライバシー設定を変更することはなく、誰でもこのアカウントにコメント、タグ、メンション頂けます。またブロックに関しても、日本語でご縁を頂いている方をブロックすることはまずありません。唯一のケースが、僕のポケットが大切な人をブロックしてしまっていたことがあるくらいで……（笑）←笑えなかったけど。

無邪気に「もう、インスタグラムったら。早く直してよね。」くらいの気持ちでいたのですが、多くの方から、「インスタグラムがフィルターかけてるわけじゃないよね？淳大丈夫よね？」というご心配の声を頂いたのでご連絡です。僕は大丈夫。インスタが何かをしているかは……わかりません。ふむ〜。他の方も同じようなエラー出てたりするのかな。

Tried to tag you to test, got the message about “restricting activity to protect community.” So probably @instagram has flagged certain language in your posts that led them to believe you’re posting inflammatory/untrue political or racist comments. Which is SO untrue! Maybe see if you can find out which words get flagged?
I located one issue. If you mention “SashiCo” with at-mark , either on the comment, main caption, or even on profile description, your post may be restricted by Instagram server by saying “protect the community”. Tagging the SashiCo account on the photo seems to be okay. Mentioning it is the issue.
When I removed all of the mentioning, I could make a post on Upcycle Stitches (which I cannot mention here to make this comment).
If Instagram flagged what I write specifically, I shouldn’t be able to post from this account? So I believe it isn’t about the specific words that have been filtered. It is mentioning the account I have.
Umm. What to do.
Heard other accounts aren’t able to caption their business accounts either
Oh my… So it was my account name the issue. I changed my account name to “SashikoStory”, and there is no issues repeating.
And… I cannot go back to the previous account because Instagram restrict the action.
