Covid Pandemic changed a lot of “Normal”. Touching, wearing, and feeling the Sashiko Jacket in a gallery (exhibition) is one of the non-recommended manners in Covid-19. One day, we sincerely hope that we can share the beautiful moment of touching & trying them on – the Sashiko Jacket & items by SashiCo & Keiko Futatsuya.

The pandemic limits the opportunity, but it doesn’t stop our creation. A gallery owner offered an opportunity to have our items displayed in her gallery – Yokose Garou, in Ibaraki Pref. The owner has been a great supporter for not only us but other Sashiko creations, and we wanted to do something for her as well. It is almost impossible to travel to Japan now, but if you were nearby the gallery, this is a great opportunity to feel & see what we are working on.

コロナ禍で、10都府県で緊急事態宣言が出されている中で、「どんどんお越し下さい！」とは言えませんが、お近くの方はご検討頂けましたら幸いです。グーグルで検索しても詳細は出てこないので、昔良きギャラリーらしく、既にお付き合いのある方に楽しんで頂くことがメインにはなるのかな……とは思っています。「SNSで紹介しても良いですか？」とオーナー様に確認したところ、「宜しくお願いします」との事だったので、ご紹介です。

長年来、刺し子をご理解頂き、また支えて下さっている画廊様です。刺し子を好きで居てくださるオーナー様が作る素敵な空間の中に、恵子さん達が作る作品が並ぶこと、とても楽しみです。
