This will be the last post in 2020. Thank you for finding us, reading the posts, and willing to learn the Japanese culture behind Sashiko & Boro. I sincerely hope we care for each other in mutual respects instead of saying “whatever” and pushing the “conveniences” over someone’s pain. I will be the same in 2021. I keep stitching Sashiko & sharing more stories. I wish you Happy New Year (some of them in a few hours and others more than a half day ahead).

I cannot promise this, but since we do not plan to have the annual New Year’s Party this year, I “may” be able to have the Sashiko Live Streaming. I will update it on Story if it becomes available.

I will hava another annual event, “Fukubukuro”, in our business account @upcyclestitches . I do not think it will be “sold out” within a day or so like the one Keiko offered in Japan, but please check our website & business account for more information in advance. Fukubukuro is a “packge” to welcome the new year with as much discount as possible in it (pretty much the only discount sale I offer in a year), with appreciating the Japanese custom. Of course, there are stories behind the Fukubukuro as well.

さて。2020年最後の投稿です。本年も大変お世話になりました。予定していたワークショップが全てキャンセルになり、また一時は日本からの荷物も届かなくなり、もう続けられないかなぁと不安になった一年ですが、皆様のおかげで慌ただしい年末を迎えることができました。今年は、「当たり前（前提）の大切さ」を実感する一年だったように思います。来年も変わらず焦らず愚直に刺し子を続け、また刺し子を英語で語っていければと思っています。抱負としては、日本語での情報発信を増やすことです。@sashiko_dad の個人アカウントで沢山書いていけたらと思うので、そちらもフォロー頂けましたら幸いです。福袋は順次発送しております（もう届いた人もいらっしゃるようで）。年末年始も刺し子と共に過ごして頂ければ何よりです。どうぞ、よいお年をお迎え下さい。

*お約束はできないのですが、米国時間の年越しの時間に配信をするかもしれません。普段はカウントダウンパーティで騒いでいる時間帯なのですが、今年は流石に集まることはしないので。家族でゲームするか、はたまた配信するか（笑）の予定です。配信することになったらストーリーでご報告します。
