Today is the 16th Live Session for the Online Sashiko Class. The live session is my favorite time since I can meet the new friends who learned the rhythm of Sashiko. In an hour of talking, some find an “Ah-Ha” moment. I love seeing them finding Sashiko “easy”, yet it’s just a start. Yes. The Online Sashiko Class is just a start of long-Sashiko learning. It isn’t the end of learning. I teach what is recommended to start the great Sashiko journey.

I spent 2 years “plannung”. Then, a year of Kaizen (continuous improving) with feedbacks. If I offer the Live Online Class, some may not be able to get the rhythm within the time frame. In-person workshops, I can hold their hands, but I cannot do so on Zoom… so, I decided to make videos. However, videos may not deliver the same eye-opening experience as I do at in-person workshops… so I offer the Live Session to do so. I believe it is working well. I will always be there to support. That’s my appreciation for the commitment they made for me. Learn Sashiko with Us. You can “choose” not to do it, but I will make you graduate from “I cannot (therefore I do not)” in Sashiko running stitch.

あちらこちらで書いておりますが、12月21日午前10時より、刺し子運針会を開催することにしました。僕の刺し子の理解をお伝えし、一番大切なリズムを感じる運針、そしてちょっとした技術（重ねとか）をお教えする4時間弱のZoom越しの講習会です。僕の配信をご覧になると、運針は見様見真似で形になると思います。実際、「見て覚えて欲しい」という思いから配信をしているのですが、やっぱり運針会を受講して頂けると嬉しいなというのが本音です。

「刺し子が好き」という共通点でご縁を頂く方は、とてもとても大切なお友達です。老若男女関わらず繋がりを頂ける。本当に嬉しいことです。僕の願いは2014年の最初から変わっていません。もしかしたら、それ以前も同じようなことを願っていたのかもしれません。それは、「（刺し子を通して）居場所をつくる」ことです。運針をお伝えする……という運針会ですが、それが「終わり」ではなく、「始まり」となってくれればと、いつも心に願いを込めて運針会を開催しています。詳細はストーリーのリンクからご覧下さい。
