I understand that not everyone has access to “Sashiko Thread”, especially under this pandemic. However, as the artisan who dream of sustainable Sashiko, I cannot say “Any thread is good for Sashiko”. There are reasons why the Japanese developed thread for Sashiko. There are people who live by making the threads. The artisans/artists often get the spotlights, but the artisans/artists cannot be on the stage without the supplier… so I keep saying that “Thread Does Matter”. Plus, I am not saying because I want to protect the industry. It makes a significant difference when you use the appropriate Sashiko thread.
☆
We see many kinds of  “Sashiko Thread” today. I only recommend a few brands/manufactures. I only sell what I use. Some of the Sashiko thread wasn’t good for our Sashiko. There are several brands/manufactures I have not used yet (therefore I cannot recommend).
☆
From both perspective – protecting & making it more beautiful – choosing the “Sashiko thread” is very important & therefore I appreciate your willingness to learn & support.

Just in case you have not received the notification about the Special Offer ending today soon (around 8pm or so in EST). In this strange and somewhat scary “stay-home” period, I made a special offer for the Online Sashiko Class – with offering almost 40% OFF value (after using the…

I love the thread you sell. I plan on ordering more soon. It works so well, looks great, and makes me more productive.
