Color from the Nature always impresses me. It is an honor to sell the Sashiko Thread hand-dyed by Keiko Futatsuya with various Natural Dyes (The colors on the photo are from Lac Dye & Madders).
☆
Not only do we love the color “today”, the color from Nature also ages with fabric. When we work on the Japanese vintage fabric, we strongly prefer the thread from nature. They age together, and that makes it very much like authentic piece (like authentic Boro).
☆
The color will not come out by just washing it with water (Please avoid bleach or similar chemicals – the details of how to handle the Natural Dye Items can be found on our website). Everytime we use, wash, and mend, the color changes. It is already one-of-a-kind color since they are hand-dyed, but you can make it truly one-of-a-kind with using it.
