As you may know already, Upcycle Stitches is a business entity located in the US

As you may know already, Upcycle Stitches is a business entity located in the USA to provide supplies, tools, and ideas to anyone who would like to enjoy Sashiko. We also offer the In-person workshop & Online Sashiko Class.

The official website is here:

The beauty of Sashiko | Upcycle and Repurpose

As much as I try to make our website more user friendly, it is almost impossible to ignore the other market platforms to operate a healthy business. Therefore, I created the storefront on Etsy and Amazon. If you are interested, please read the article, “Why we have several store front (https://upcyclestitches.com/reasons-why-we-have-several-sashiko-storefront/)”

It was a difficult choice to make a platform on Amazon for some reasons. However, in order to support the Japanese suppliers, I decided to list some items with permission from the manufacturers. As much as I try to make a shipment within 24 hours, Amazon’s 2 day prime shipping is… you know, very convenient. Even on Amazon, I hope a customer will choose who they purchase from as I shared my insight on @Sashi.Co

☆

With learning more on Amazon, I expanded the marketplace to Canada & Mexico. It is more like a trial, but a residence in Canada & Mexico can purchase some Sashiko supplies from us with “Prime” (some importing fee may be collected by Amazon). Upcycle Stitches do make an International Shipping, and the shippings are fairly good even under covid-19. However, you may feel better to get it with “Prime” on the easy platform. I try to be a difficult person on @Sashi.co but I also need to keep business running. I appreciate your caring & learning what I really feel.

We are operating our “business” by mainly 2 people: Atsushi & her mother Keiko, with great help from many friends & supporters. We aren’t a big company with good cash-flow. We prioritize our mission over finalizing it, and therefore we usually do not take the investment offer. We would like…
