I restarted offering the Sashiko Live Streaming on Instagram after many months of absence. To see the Sashiko stitching without any editing & modifying, please check the account @sashi.co for the IGTV. (Before, the videos were saved in the “Story” so it got deleted after 24 hour. However, after an update, it is saved in IGTV so anyone can watch it. Also, all the archives are saved on Youtube.)

Just out of curiosity. Would anyone be interested in purchasing the “Boro-To-Be fabric” that we had been working on? It is “somewhat” finished so it can be used for placemat or interior (clearing the edge with running stitch may be a good idea). However, in order to make it look “more Boro like”, the user may keep using & stitching. It isn’t cheap because Keiko (@Sashi.co) and I have spent quite a lot of time on the precious vintage fabric (I am thinking about $95 USD or best offer – size: about 28″ x 6.5″). I used to think that I would use it and add more stitching, but I won’t have that much time in the “new normal”, so if someone can enjoy this journey, it is my pleasure to pass down. I will announce it here when I decide to list it, but I just wanted to know if I should just list it for “first-come, first-serve”, or make it like a drawing to be fair with everyone. It is an interesting piece – all hand-stitched in today’s society by the artisans who live in today’s world.
