A great success in the Sashiko Live Streaming with better (high) resolution. Well… there isn’t much that “I” did. It is the difference simply because of the better equipment.

☆

As much as I love the “Photo”, a good video shares various kinds of stories. In today’s Live Streaming, I shared the “(To-Be) Boro” piece with explaining what Boro is to us. The image & moving Boro with my hands explain what it is more than just words and beautiful photos – especially because our Boro is not behind the exhibition glass.

☆

“Does Boro have to be made from vintage fabric?”. It was a great question, and I enjoyed explaining my understanding of that – with sharing my current works. Since I cannot make a good amount of time to make “Sashiko Story videos on Youtube”, the Live Streaming will be a good alternatives for my stories, on top of the Patreon Page.

I share my honest Sashiko Stories. I say that Sashiko in English isn’t wrong, but insufficient. For those who think they already know about Sashiko, my voice can be interpreted as an act of “Division” or “Fragmentation”. No, “Exclusion” is the opposite of my voice. All I am asking is…

In the previous post, I may have caused a misunderstanding of “Atsushi Needs to Look at the Faces to offer a better workshop experience”, and therefore Online Class may be less ideal. This isn’t true. I just need a few movements to identify how I can help. For example, body…

I watched it last night and it was wonderful. Not only the higher resolution, but the explanation of the subtleties inherent in Boro and how cultural views directly impact physical practice was very helpful and enlightening. Thank you!
