Keiko in @Sashi.Co has been “practicing” in dyeing Sashiko thread with Natural Dyes for more than 10 years. It is my sincere pleasure to offer her threads in our webstore. She decided to have a minor update for her Natural Dye thread in 2020, and it is about time to share the fantastic results.
☆
The new Natural Dye Sashiko Thread (20) has a very similar color from the previous Natural Dye thread, but a bit “matte” that she wanted to have. She successfully offers the same color number with the same natural dyes, but please expect that the outcome may be slightly different from the previous Natural Dye.
☆
All of the stock of Natural Dye Sashiko Thread is sold-out / Used up in Japan. The only thread left is in our boxes, and we will shift to the new Natural thread as soon as the stock runs out. I was hoping to release this information earlier in 2020, but due to this strange time, I have only received the same threads. Once the samples are gone, please expect a few more weeks (or months) to restock this Natural Dye Sashiko Thread. Keiko never stops improving – I am amazed how she can keep educating herself at the age of… you know, my mother 😀

Sashiko Vest from my old memories. This type of Sashiko – patchworking with colorful fabric – existed many decades ago. Way before it became a trend in sustainability, we enjoyed & appreciated the fabric to apply to our ordinary days. ☆ It is always nice to see the items I…
