Sashi.Co & Keiko Futatsuya are suspending all of the activities/plans between 4/18 to 5/31 due to the Gifu State & Japanese national emergency (please check Keiko’s English website for more information). It is a very difficult situation since Spring is the best time to welcome tourists all over the world, and we have offered so many workshops this season. We sincerely hope to welcome those who wish to visit Keiko for her Sashiko Collection & workshops. (Please be advised that all of the workshop Keiko offers has the prerequisite of Atsushi’s Sashiko Workshop – Core & Basic – either in-person or Online. Atsushi will share the basic & core technique, and Keiko will share her ideas of how to apply the technique.Online Sashiko Class is available with limited availability)

自宅待機令からほぼ2ヶ月。遂に今週末、「赤色から黄色」に警戒レベルが変わります。どうなるんだろう。米国でのワークショップの全キャンセルも泣きそうですが、日本での予定のキャンセルもやっぱりキツいものがあります。先月半ばの岐阜県の緊急事態宣言を受けての営業自粛（4/18〜）も、今月末まで延長します。日本国内外、世界中から「恵子さんの作品を見たい。糸が欲しい」と高山に来て下さる方が沢山いた去年と比べて、とても寂しく静かな春になっています。

それでも人は後ろを向きながら前に進もうとするのは危ないわけで。適宜立ち止まって後ろをみつつ、歩くときはしっかりと前を見て歩こうと思うのです。配信が定期的にできなくなり、淳が主夫に戻ってしまっていることで、多くの企画が立ち止まってしまっています。でも、まだ僕たちはここにいて、新しい日常が始まった際は、前を変わらない刺し子への思いを胸に前に進めたらと思っています。

ふと現状の立ち位置について書こうと思ったのが1,201回目の投稿だったから。1,200→1,201という数字の移り変わりが好きなんです。1200の数字が持つ「自己肯定」の意味から、1,201という素数への変わり方。新しい一歩のような感じがして。こういう話もニーズあるのかな（笑）
