[Boro/Sashiko is a statement.] ☆

I am learning as well from followers – yes, when one considers “Boro/Sashiko” as a statement, I can understand the current trend better. For me, however, Boro/Sashiko is ordinary, not a statement. To be honest, one shouldn’t make a statement without knowing the “word” sufficiently – at least without trying to know. Since the statement is made almost “instantly”, the people behind the word feel strange about the movement. ☆

I hope you enjoy Sashiko by stitching – not by the statement to solve their concern. (At the same time, I am making a lot of “statements” about Boro/Sashiko to protect its culture. My point is, “which comes first”.) ☆ – – – ☆

(They think Boro/Sashiko is a statement)から読み深めることができました。 ☆

A year ago today, I was so hard on myself perfectly preparing for the Filming for Domestika. I wrote a script. I tried to remember it. Well… nothing went well in the studio, and most of what I said in the course is off the script – improvisation. Well, it…

We are a group of “makers” after all. Although I rely on words, my mother (Keiko) barely opens her mouth to share her insight. She prefers not to show her work-figure to anyone, not even her own child. However, I can receive her message throughout what she makes. I believe…

I appreciate the feedback that they like my writing – some even say it is like a poem. The instructor in the Writing Center (in Collage) will be proud of (or even surprised at) this feedback. Well. I am aware that my English isn’t very good in the most standard….

I think…sashiko should be used sparingly as a way to mend clothing (like the original intended use). Pattern, while important, is secondary…
