体が弱く常に風邪を引いていた僕に比べ、娘はとても健康体で過ごしてくれています。それでも風邪はもちろんひいて、先週末はその滅多にない時間を過ごしました。子供が苦しむ姿を見ること程苦しいことはないですね……。寝込んでいる間甘やかしすぎて、回復して様子見の今日は、「調子に乗るな」と怒ってしまう程に（笑）そういうものなのかもしれません。 ☆
風邪でソファで寝てる（テレビがみたいので）時に、外に行く時はいつも持ち歩いてくれている刺し子バッグを横において寝てくれて。妻の「お父さんが刺し子したから世界にひとつだけだよ。誰も持ってないよ。」というコメントが響いたらしく、ずーっと使ってくれています。思春期を迎えれば、そんな「手作り」が嫌になる時もくるとは思いますが、同時に「父親が一生をかけたこと」が少しでも娘に伝われば良いなと思っています。諦めず、挫けず、いじけず、怖がらず。 ☆ – – – ☆
I gave this bag as a present to my daughter for being a “big girl” to go on a trip with me for 6 days without her mother. Since then, she keeps using it even (or especially) when she sleeps in her sick day. She says it is her favorite because her father (me) made it for her and no one has it. Well, she may not like this “handmade” as she grows up, but I would like to leave what her father did with his entire life, “Sashiko”. It doesn’t have to come from my mouth. I can come from anyone who I had a fortunate opportunity with – workshops, shoppings, email exchanges, and good communication on SNS. ☆
I am happy that she knows the power of “caring”. I believe what I am sharing is not that complicated. It is something we forgot over “something”. I hope my words become action, and my action will influence someone’s action. I believe that’s how we remember “it”. ☆

我が子の辛い姿を見るのは本当に辛いですよね😢傍にパパの手作りバッグを置く事でパパがすぐ側にいてくれてるようで安心するのかな？親の手作りを大事にして貰えるのは嬉しいですね💕

年頃になるとブランド物に行くかも知れませんが年齢を重ねるとまた戻るのではないでしょうか
