In this society, we are required to “think” to be more productive, efficient and to be “better”. I am asking to give up judging oneself continuously by enjoying Sashiko. Feel instead of Think. Respect (the difference) instead of Judge. The message is the same from the beginning. “Care” instead of “Opinion”. ☆
I kind of talked about random things in Today’s Live Streaming. My message is above if I summarize it.

This weekend is the beginning of my workshop month of July starting with preparation. 4 Weeks from now, on 7/9 and 7/10 in the NYC Area with Loop of the Loom (@loopoftheloom), and then in Berkeley CA from 7/23 to 7/26 with Wada Sensei (@yoshiko_wada_) and WSN (@worldshiborinetwork). It is…

One of the best Sashiko stitching fabric. Hitomezashi & Oshima Tsumugi silk. Just stunning. Of course, with Natural Dyed Thread. 一番好きで一番贅沢な刺し子。 大島紬に草木染めで一目刺し。こればかりは最高という言葉以外が思いつかないです。 2017-05-25 19:02:26 Source

About 6 years ago, I decided to “expose” our stitching on the Internet. Some friends advised me it would be a horrible idea to “show it” for free of charge. They tried to convince me that I should look for other ways to “preserve it” as the exposure would be…

Good message, thank you Dear. That’s what i do spending times with plants, rugs, papers, scraps and threads, so soon i will experience sashiko thanks to your ecnouragement. How far does sashiko date? Which age does it come from the earliest? Cheers from Poland ❤️🇵🇱

I love this message and this site, The beauty and message of Sashiko – and Boro – excuse my ignorance, I am very new to this art. With so much time on our hands I shall explore and hope to learn more about it. I have some well-worn clothes and textiles which need to be given new life and will very much enjoy the process of reviving them. xxxxx @paperheartsink @theinkwellbird @mallorygalleryarts
