Asanoha Sashiko by 26 Sashiko practitioners into one piece. It is a significant evidence that there is no such thing as “right” and “wrong” in Sashiko – all of the 26 patches are beautiful as they are. It is our pleasure to present – “26 Asano-ha Project”. All-hand stitched. All different results yet with a similar mindset – the Japanese who loves Sashiko stitching (Unshin). ☆
Umm. Is there any good place to submit this project…? (I will see how this can be applied to Quiltcon when I visit Austin next month). Atsushi will announce a similar project in English (for those who live outside of Japan) to join – starting with the supporters on Patreon. Please keep checking our news!

26人の麻の葉プロジェクト。インスタグラムを中心にご縁を頂いた26人の麻の葉柄の刺し子を一枚の作品に繋ぎ合わせました。「みんな違って、みんな良い」を地で行く作品になったと思います。麻の葉柄が細かいだけに、相当にパワフルな作品となったようです（実物は恵子さんしか見てない）。東京でのオフ会には、高山から送ってもらう予定です。お披露目したいもの。

ブログの更新、もう少しお待ち下さい。想いが募りすぎて文章がまとまらず、写真の整理も必要なので丁寧に更新できたらと思っています。刺し子に興味があるというだけではなく、「運針を楽しんでいる人」を対象にした今回のプロジェクト。結果”だけ”にこだわらない運針は、かくも刺し手の人柄、気持ち、思いを表すのかと、とても嬉しい気持ちになりました。毎日が新しい発見、新しい勉強です。これで終わりではなく、引き続き、（恵子さんのタイミングを見計らいつつ）、第二弾も形にしようと思っています。次は……七宝……？同時進行で、日本国外に在住の方のプロジェクトは、淳手動で行う予定です。こちらも楽しみ。
