Sashiko Jacket 015 by SashiCo & Keiko Futatsuya.
☆
This jacket made me jump into a journey of nostalgia – for 10 days long. I believe it was a good journey to share who Keiko is. There are many more Jackets, bags, and other items, but I will introduce them on my website, Patreon, and here little by little. The last photo is the one I started the journey with. At the same time, this is my favorite one – when I have enough funds to ask Keiko for the jacket for me, I will use 015 as a template to start. We are open to receive an order to make a One-Of-A-Kind Jacket for the preferable size & design (Sashiko combination). It may take more than a year, but it would be our honor to be part of your life. At the same time, Atsushi shares our techniques to stitch Sashiko within a reasonable time – if a stitcher makes stitches one by one, it will take forever to make one Sashiko item. All of the information is available from the link on the profile. Please keep following us.

Please imagine a dish you often enjoy. It can be Pizza, Salad, wings, Soup… anything you often enjoy, or even feel tired of having as you have so often. Let’s say you eat “Salad” everyday. (I used mac & cheese in a BBC video, but here I use Salad). Your…

One of my core messages I want to deliver is the importance of acknowledging the “Upstream”. Intangible items such as Wisdom & Knowledge are difficult to “protect”. Or, as they are public domain, it is even silly to think of “protecting” them. However, it is an absolute fact that these…

Another photo from my workshop graduate. Sashiko & Boro inspired Hat. ★ One of my happy moments through Sashiko is to see a new artists who enjoyed my Sashiko Workshop. The Japanese has an interesting word “縁 – En” that means “fated relatedness”. I believe we were supposed to meet…
