It is so great to be able to share the moment together – it maybe not at the same time, not the same location, not the same culture – yet we share the same Sashiko stitching. I had felt so much fear before offering the Online Sashiko Class, but it was one of the best moves in 2019.

自営業……というか休みも趣味も境界線が曖昧な日々を送っているので、あまり祝日気分ではございません（笑）体調がイマイチなので無茶はせず、布団に入ってゲームをしたりしております。そんな中、嬉しい写真を頂きました。オンライン刺し子ワークショップを受講下さった米国の方から、「ライブ配信見ながら刺し子してるよー」と。距離も時差も時系列も国も言葉も……違いはありますが、こうして一緒に「刺し子を楽しめる空間が作れている」ことは、一番の嬉しいことだと思います。今年も残り僅か。特に何か変わるもんでもありません。刺し子を楽しめる年末年始になりますように。
