先日書いたことと少々矛盾するのですが、刺し子を伝える為には「実物」と「声」が大切なんだろうなと思います。言葉で説明するのが第一歩。そしてその次に、実際の作品と、それを作った人間の声を届けることで、「一番伝えたい何か」が届くんだろうなと。ワークショップはそういう意味で、とても貴重な時間です。「襤褸とは何か？」という問いを、一緒に考えることができる時間でもあるのだから。様々な解釈があって良い襤褸ですが、決して「技術」ではありません。西洋では、でも、襤褸は技術として認識されてしまっているように思います。手法ではなく営み。刺し子と襤褸は同じ直線上にあるのでね。

ワークショップ、お疲れ様でした😊実物が伝える力は計り知れないですよね。知識と経験では全く違うのと同じで、写真や言葉では伝えきれない何かをちゃんと伝えてくれる気がします。
