Sashiko Stitching (Asanoha & Shippou), Repair, Patchwork, on the Denim with a good photo-model. Just beyond the words. I worry, and very occasionally get upset, that the culture of Sashiko may be repainted by random “freedom”. Again, this Denim isn’t my work. Not even Keiko’s work. Natsuki (@natsuki__ishihara) took my Sashiko Online Workshop about year ago… and now she is surprising me. She will surprise the world. Well, let’s surprise the world together with Sashiko. When I started “disclosing” the Sashiko we practice in 2017, I did not expect this. However, I dreamed of this – sharing the beauty of Sashiko. Sashiko isn’t anyone’s property, therefore, it can be so caring, precious, and appreciative to what we “wear”

今回のデニムカーテンの撮影の時に、どうせなら……と忙しい妻にお願いして、奈月刺し子デニム（by @natsuki__ishihara) の撮影も行いました。僕が履いて撮ろうとも思ったのですが、ねぇ、それはやっぱり最上級の素材を使った方が良い訳です。

結論。「最上級 x 最上級 (Natsuki + Marina)」はヤバいです。僕が撮った写真じゃないみたい。自己主張する奈月デニムも、履く人が強いと、こんな化学反応起こすみたいです。他にも面白い写真があるので、また追って紹介するとして、この麻の葉と七宝って息を呑んでしまいます。生唾の飲み込みましたもん。表情が違う。デニム。刺し子。補修。んでもって最終形が（まで辿り着けば）襤褸。普段の僕の配信での愚痴や心配事がアホらしくなる程の圧倒的存在感。これを目にしても日本の刺し子を蔑ろにできる人がいたら、それはそれで貴重な存在なわけで。いやはや。ほんと刺し子続けてて良かった。
