“Caring” is not only the word – it is also the result. Keiko’s Sashiko hoodie has wood-buttons. She cares into the details. One day, it is our goal to travel all over the world with these Sashiko pieces. Our goal is to share the Sashiko we practice. The result may be “Let’s surprise the world”. The workshop weekend is coming. Happy to share the Sashiko here in Lewisburg.

10 years have passed since we joined a Earthquake Disaster Recovery Project with Sashiko, so called Otsuchi Sashiko Project (@ootsuchisashikoproject). Earthquake & Tsunami wiped away many precious things from the town. It is a project to mend, strengthen, and “make it beautiful again” with Sashiko. It is our sincere honor…

A priviledge of being a Sashiko Artist: To encounter these beautiful vintage Fabric. This will be, probably, be part of Boro art. No record. However, Keiko and I estimate the fabric are very old… a few hundred years? 2017-12-16 21:59:57 Source
