It is almost a miracle that 2 Sashiko enthusiasts (Susan Faeder -@susanfaeder and myself) live in such a small city, Lewisburg PA. It was an honor to visit her Solo exhibit at the Union Co. Public Library in Lewisburg. Show will be up through Aug 29. Don’t miss this opportunity to check the beautiful Sashiko (and some Sashiko-inspired according to her) pieces. ☆
人口たった5,700人ちょいの町に、実は刺し子好きな二人が住んでいまして。一人は僕で、一人はスーザンさん。日本への刺し子(キルティング)ツアーを30年も続けてこられた、その世界ではとても有名な方です。彼女の個展が図書館であり伺ってきました。継続するという力。心より尊敬です。
