Thank you for the feedback about the previous post about the “Anger”. As you may know, “Anger” is one of the primitive, and dangerous, emotion the human can have. Not only it could hurt someone around them, but it also could ruin themselves, like I did.
☆
Continuous Anger could trigger depression, eating disorder, and numbers of other mental illness. In this “information” society, we go to find the quick remedy to those long-lasting & layers of Anger: sometimes without knowing what is the cause of the emotion. I still feel Anger occasionally (and it is okay). One thing I can say is that the primitive form of stitching – Sashiko – could be “one of the slow remedy” for the angers – ironically for me who had Anger to Sashiko.
☆
Again, I am just a normal man who couldn’t keep silence to what I had suffered & attached to my whole life – Sashiko. It is upto the “receivers” to obtain from my writing & our Sashiko. I am not here to judge, I am here to share.
☆

Another great photo from my friend (who took the previous Sashiko workshop from me). I was so happy to hear she is enjoying “stitching” itself. She even told me that she sometimes stitch for the purpose of stitching (not making something). When we learn how to stitch Sashiko the way…

When is Sashiko “Complete”? This is a question I often want to ask when they discuss what Sashiko is. Sashiko “can” be the Art. However, for me, a dialogue of “when” Sashiko obtained the status of “Completion” is more important than Sashiko being defined as “Art”. ☆ For many (Japanese)…

“Respect” doesn’t exist in words much. It exists in Actions. I have strong motivation for speaking up – I believe our voices can actually contribute to cultural preservation (change to the change). For that, I want to introduce 2 super stars in Mending who gave me hope in the last…

Thank you for sharing (as always) – for me that’s one of the most fascinating aspects of work – the mind-to-hand connection – even if they are giving us opposing feelings, they have to unite in the person (i hope that makes sense)
