Great success, the Sashiko workshop in my city, Lewisburg, PA. Again, I forgot to take the photos of the workshop… I always focus on talking about Sashiko & sharing the technique, and forget the photos of everyone together.

“It is so fun & relaxing to do hand-stitching.” The best compliment I receive in offering the workshop. The main message in my workshop is to share the importance & pleasure of enjoying the process of stitching instead of being articurate if the stitches are good or bad. I will explain why I value so much in the “process“ later on, but I believe the participants of my workshop can just “feel” what I mean by “enjoy the process.” The result is important, but the emotion in the process will make the result beautiful & unique. 案の定……というか、やっぱり2日かけての8時間ワークショップでも、自宅開催でスケールは半分以下でも、やっぱり写真撮れませんでした（笑）一度スイッチはいると止まらないんですよねー。自宅開催だとご紹介できるコレクションが、それこそ山のようにあるので、話は尽きませんでした。

「運針がこんなに楽しいとは思わなかった。」「運針を止めて針を抜くのが一番のストレス（笑）」と、講師冥利に尽きるたくさんのお言葉を頂きました。最初に僕の運針をみて、「こりゃ無理だ」という表情の苦笑いが、運針を進めるにつれて、「あ〜。うん。こりゃなんとかなるわ（淳の言ってることは無茶じゃないわ）」と変わってくるのが、やっぱり嬉しくて仕方ないのです。どれだけ行っても緊張するワークショップですが、でも、やっぱり自信もついてきますね。何より楽しい。いつか日本でもできると良いなぁ。
